  6. Great review. Little late to the party, but in all the photos you have that show the diver's extension, it looks like you reinstalled in back incorrectly. Just FYI.
  7. Thanks frank. Seiya Japan says they are sold out. But I think I can get it from Shopping in Japan.net.
  8. Oceanus is only sold in Japan as far as I know so I assume it will have to be sent to a service center in Japan. But these are reliable quartz watches so a need for repair seems unlikely. The dial on this model is dark blue. I haven't heard about IPPO before so no experience with them. I ordered a different watch from SeiyaJapan before and that was a great experience. I think they have this T200S as well.

    Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S review

Another quick question if you don’t mind: for the CASIO OCEANUS OCW-T200S-1AJF, is the dial black or dark blue? Some of the retailer photos make it seem black, but in other light it is indigo blue. Also, any experience with IPPO Japan as a seller...they seem reputable? Thank you.

    Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S review

This is a terrific review and much appreciated. I now want the Bluetooth version, after understanding the difference thanks to you (also a bit cheaper, and no “Tough Mvt.”on dial.) Being able to switch from bracelet to strap is an advantage too. Question: for warranty, will the watch have to be sent to a Japan service center?
  11. Great photo, Frank. I own the blue dial 8900 -- a magnificent timepiece I purchased a year ago, in large part based on your magnificent review published in these pages on 4/18/19. I owe you your next Sam Adams!

    Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S review

Thank you for your answer Frank. Multiband 6 radio wave syncing is therefore not always reliable.
  13. It was 5 minutes so I think it may have been some kind of sync error instead of the movement being actually slow like that.

    Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S review

    Really 5 minutes in 20 days ? Or 5 seconds ?

  16. Still enjoying it very much, the perfect GADA watch!
  17. I noticed my T200 was about 5 minutes slow and hadn't connected to update for 20 days. It also wouldn't update manually. I removed the watch from the app and it wouldn't connect when I tried to add it again. I found this fix on the Apple store for this app and worked for me. After doing this, the watch paired with my phone right away and time is synched again.

    Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S review

Thank you for your answer. I worded my previous comment poorly, by "the top of my wrist (where the watch would sit)" I wanted to say that my wrist is 53mm wide at the spot where I would wear the watch. I saw the picture you mention and I wasn't sure whether ~5mm of extra wrist width would be enough to make the watch look appropriate and not too big. But as you say, there is only one way to know for certain. Thanks for the good luck! I hope it will fit.
  20. Hi Oliver, I would look at the overall width of your wrist instead of just the top of the wrist. As you can see in a picture in a previous comment, the bracelet goes straight down at 49mm so it won't extend beyond the width of your wrist. I think this watch should be ok for you but there is only one way to find out. Good luck!

    Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S review

Hi nordwulf, your review was the one that has finally tipped me over to the "I WANT" mindset. I'm still wondering about one thing, however. The circumference of my wrist is 7 inches, but the top of my wrist (where the watch would sit) is quite thin at 53 millimetres. I'm worried that the watch would look too big on me because of the 49mm lug-to-lug distance. What do you think?
